Myopractic Treatments 

Myopractic is an amazing form of body work that involves assessment of your body structures eg muscles and bones. These are assessed in a variety of ways, then treated with the correct movement of muscles. You will feel the body relax as the muscles and nerves are relieved of tension. HOW IT WORKS

Most aches and pains are caused by misaligned muscles, ligaments or bones-(with the spine being the chief culprit) that impinge on the nerves. This can be caused by an accident, sudden impact or muscles contracting because of a tense situation (physical or emotional).

The body is assessed in a variety of ways eg

way you stand

way you walk

way your body lays on a table- eg leg length, sacrum level, hip rotation

body warmth- heat or coldness

fluid pooling 

photograph- your body is photographed to show you what is happening.

A month later it is photographed again- to show you the difference 

The body is then treated.

TREATMENT

 This consists of a series of flowing muscle corrections made by the practitioners thumbs and fingers. It is designed to improve the bodies vital balance and posture by movimg on structures such as muscles,tendons and ligaments. Once the muscles are released they allow the bones to move back into their correct position releasing tension on nerves-taking away pain and allowing the body to feel relaxed again. 

The body continues to make its corrections for up to 5 days. Sometimes reactions do occur within 24 -48 hours. The new corrections are allowing the body to remove its compensations, clear waste products and generally heal itself.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

(1) WATER  Drink up to 2 litres of water daily with lots of fruit and vegetables

(2) OBSERVE your movements- take note of how you get in and out of your car, vacuuming, using the computer etc. These may be contributing to your bodies imbalances

(3)EXERCISE  perform any prescribed exercises daily. These are vital for the realignment process
